We are but mice. Squeakedy squeak.
The Game: Garden of the Giants

In Garden of the Giants, which abbreviates to GotG, which means something else in the popular consciousness, you play mice in the titular Garden. There's actually a lot of established setting, including a goal for the overarching campaign, but the structure of it would allow you, in theory, to replay the game using basically the same campaign but a world that evolves. And I think it's a pretty cool idea.
But really, it's more likely that a group would play this campaign once, and that's fine. I think the idea that an RPG needs endless replayability hinders a lot of creatives, and one of the reasons I like, say, Forged in the Dark games is that the endgame is considered in the rules and text.
Anyway, not going to go off on that particular tangent because MOUSIE.
Characters in this game are, as mentioned, mice who wake up inside an old watering can and go out to venture into the Garden. They might be people that were turned into mice; that's something the group would decide at the beginning of the game. For my purposes, I'll assume that my mousie thinks he's just a normal anthropomorphic mouse that wears clothes and so on, but not discount the possibility that I might be a transmogrified human.
First thing I do is set two of my Core abilities (Courage, Heart, Wits, and Charm) at d6 and two at d4. I feel like making a chubby little roly-poly sort of mousie, very clever and charming, so I shall put my d6s into Wits and Charm.
My three starting Traits are Curious, Nimble, and Hungry, so that's easy.
I get two Knacks at d6, and they can be just about anything. My mouse is an expert on Flowers, but he's got no ability to garden, so he's not a farmer, this is more of a scientific interest. He's also good at Yelling. He's got a good set of pipes for a little mousie.
Just a name and a description, then! His name is Mulberry. Mulberry is, as mentioned, plump and squishy. He wears a pair of brown breeches and a wide hat made from dried rose petals, and he carries a walking stick that he uses to poke at flowers to get a bit of pollen. Mulberry likes to sing, but he's not good at it. He is good at yelling to make a distraction, to make himself heard in a crowd room, or to test an echo.
That's it! Very easy chargen. I'd totally run this game. It might not seem like much here, but a lot of the cool stuff is GM-facing, including the design of the Garden.
